| | | | | 译名的归化与异化 | | | 胡卫平 | | | 译名的归化翻译向来是汉文化的固有传统，这与中国历史上几千年的大国地位以及不断向邻国输出文化不无关系。然而在世界进入全球化的当今时代，随着中国对外开放的步骤不断加快，汉文化的包容性日益增强，异化译名具有越来越广泛的可接受性。因此，译者只有遵从汉文化归化翻译的一贯传统，同时又顺应历史潮流发展采取异化翻译手法．这才是确立译名的正确途径。

长期以来，我国翻译界就存在着归化与异化之争。异化即英文中的 ａｌｉｅｎａｔｉｏｎ，又称ｆｏｒｅ这山ｚｉｎｇ，指的是在翻译中保留原语中的表达方式，从而使译入语保持“洋气”，体现异国情调。归化则是ａｄａＰｔａｔｉｏｎ，或称ｄｏｍｅｓｔｉｃａｔｉｎｇ，反对引入原文中的欧式表达方式，而主张在译入语中运用汉语的表达方式。其实，翻译是一种跨语际间的交流活动，亦是一种文化的融合，它不仅涉及到语言转换，还涉及到文化的移植和传播，因为译文实际是原文十原文文化背景十译文十译文文化背景的混合体。撇开原文中的文化背景，… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | Adaptation and Alienation in Translation of Terms | | | HU Wei-ping (Department of English;Tongji University;Shanghai 200092;China) | | | The adaptation translation of terms is the traditional Chinese method due to China's powerful position in history as well as its transfer of culture to the neighbouring countries. Yet with the tendency of globalization Chinese language has more tolerated the invasion of other cultures, and the terms translated by alienation method are more acceptable nowdays. Thus a translator should establish the proper translated terms only by complying with the traditional Chinese culture and at the same time following the historical trend.
