| | | | | 大学英语教师课堂提问模式调查分析 | | | 胡青球,埃德·尼可森,陈炜 | | | 提问是课堂上外语教师常用的教学方法之一。从国外有关专家的研究中我们可以知道 ,提问技巧、提问内容与形式都能影响学生参与课堂活动的积极性。目前对外语教师课堂提问的研究大多集中在西方国家或我国香港。对中国大陆外语教师在这方面的研究寥寥无几 ,或欠全面。本文调查与分析了广东外语外贸大学的 4位外语教师的课堂提问模式 ,从提问的类型、提问后的等候时间、提问的分布、提问技巧的运用、反馈形式与回答问题的方式等 6个方面总结归纳了 4位教师的课堂提问情况。在此基础上 ,笔者提出一些提高课堂提问技巧的原则。

1 .引言教师课堂话语是国外语言学家近年来外语课堂教学研究的一个重要方面。教师话语不仅是教师执行教学计划的工具 ,同时还是学生语言输入的一个重要来源 ,因此它在组织课堂教学和学习者的语言习得过程中起着至关重要的作用 (Nunan 1 990 )。在教师课堂话语中 ,提问占了相当的比例。White&Lightbown ( 1 984 )用录像设备摄录一个外语教师的一堂课的活动 ,其中观察到在一堂 50分钟的课堂中教师提了 4 2 7个问题。Tsui ( 1 993)分析了香港的英语课堂教学情况 ,结果发现 70 %的课堂话语活动是这样一个过程 :老师提问学生→指定一个学生回答… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | A survey on the questioning pattern of college English teachers | | | Hu Qingqiu et al. | | | Teachers' questions have been traditionally viewed as an important constituent of teacher talk in classroom context. And questioning pattern has received much attention ever since. Yet most studies and surveys have been carried out in the west or in Hong Kong, China. Therefore, the present article aims to present a survey on the questioning pattern of English teachers on the China's mainland, and tries to draw some implications for English teachers in China. The videotapes of four college English teachers in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies were transcribed by the researchers, who then analyzed the transcriptions. According to what is surveyed in the article, the researchers provide some implications and guidelines to English teachers.
