| | | | | 大学英语测试质疑述评 | | | 张新元 | | | 大学英语测试 ,即四、六级考试 ,是全国性的大规模标准化考试 ,是西方现代语言测试理论与中国具体实际相结合的产物。自诞生以来 ,它始终是语言测试领域备受关注和研究的热点 ,迄今已研究得相当透彻 ,既有人肯定其巨大成绩 ,亦有人指出其相对不足。本文对历年的研究成果进行了梳理、分析、归纳 ,认为论者的质疑主要源于对它的认识偏差和尚欠科学的教学管理 ,责任不在测试本身 ;它的成绩是主要的 ,不足是次要的 ;不必废除统考 ,但须不断改革。只要统一认识 ,不搞争论 ,坚持在实践中不断总结和完善 ,大学英语测试必将继续推动我国的大学英语教学改革和英语人才的培养。

198 6年国家教委颁布《大学英语教学大纲》。为了检验大纲的落实情况和推动英语教学改革,1987年9月国家教委高教司主持推出大学英语测试,即人们常说的四、六级考试,每年举行两次,测试对象是完成基础阶段学习的在校大学生,命题依据是《教学大纲》,内容主要考核学生运用英语语言的能力,同时也考核学生对语法结构和词语用法的掌握程度(大学英语教学大纲修订工作组1986、1999)。这项测试迄今已历16年,论者从各个角度对其进行深入研究,赞成者有之,反对者亦有之。赞成者认为,它效度、信度高,设计科学,组织严密,实施严格,成绩显著,并得到社会承认,… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | A review of questions about College English Test Band 4/6 | | | Zhang Xinyuan | | | College English Test Band 4/6, a national standardized test, is the crystallization of the combination of modern language testing theories and Chinese reality. It has been a hot research subject, and studied from diverse aspects since its birth. Both its merits and demerits have been structured. This paper, based on the full analysis and synthesis of all the findings of the researchers, concludes that all questions about College English Test Band 4/6 are derived from improper insights into its goal as well as inappropriate managements of teaching; College English Test Band 4/6 is not to blame. With its prestigious achievements and social reputation, it is justified for it to be maintained instead of being abandoned. However, it also needs further and extensive innovation for the sake of increased vitality.
