"what to teach. " This paper, however, suggests that researchers and teachers of translation widen their vision, and shift their focus to "how to teach" , so as to follow the trend of international translation studies. The author believes that this learner-centered approach will arouse students' initiative and creativity, enhance their translation competence, and more important, cultivate their interest in translation and give them keen enjoyment.
