| | | | | 汉英文化类辞典编纂要端举论——以《汉英中国哲学辞典》为例 | | | 郭尚兴 | | | 论文以作者编写的《汉英中国哲学辞典》为例,论述了汉英文化类辞典编纂中的几个重要问题。在指导思想上,这类辞典应该作民族文化身份的维护者和全球文化多样性的建构者。翻译原则应该是:保持文化个性,力求形神兼备,减少文化亏损,平衡语用效果。贯彻该原则的方法论应该以文化部分学的本质主义为基础,深入地认识和把握民族文化整体的精神内涵及文化术语历时、共时的变化,把中国文化看作一种文化合式公式,把术语看作常项或变项,力求重视域融合,采用动态和历史的方法,显在意义与隐含意义兼顾的方法,形神辨证的方法,确定术语的译文。

1引言这里的“汉英文化类辞典”是指中国传统文化类的汉英辞典。在国际上倡导文化多样性的呼声一浪高过一浪的今天,由中国人自己编纂汉英文化类辞典是中国文化参与世界文化多样性、防止中国文化边缘化,保持民族身份的必须和必然。因此,本人不顾学识浅薄,通过10年左右的努力,于2002年出版了《汉英中国哲学辞典》,并计划编写其他方面的文化类辞典。但有几个问题一直萦绕在脑海挥之不去,即我们应该以什么样的指导思想编纂这类辞典?如何理解传统文化?如何处理英译中形式与意义的关系?如何对待文化的历史性与现实性的关系?如何协调术语的语用功能… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | On Complication of C-E Cultural Dictionary——Exemplified with A Dictionary of Chinese Philosophy with English Annotations | | | GUO Shang-xing(College of Foreign Languages;Henan University;Kaifeng 475001;China) | | | This paper discusses a few important issues on the compilation of Chinese-English cultural dictionaries exemplified with A Dictionary of Chinese Philosophy with English Annotations compiled by the author.It holds that such dictionaries should function as the safeguard of the identity of the national culture and the constructor of the multi-cultures in the world.So the translation principle should be: Preservation of the cultural individuality,management of the unity of form with essence,keeping the cultural deficiency to the least extent,and balancing the pragmatical effect.And the fusion of multi-horizons on the basis of culturally mereological essentialism should be the methodology in implementing the principle.
