| | | | | 论口译的翻译单位 | | | 赵军峰 | | | 翻译单位在过去20年中一直是广受关注和争议的翻译学命题。对具有“时间上的封闭性”和“空间上的开放性”的口译这一动态交际过程来说,翻译单位的存在性质和表现特征受制于具体的语境,呈现出较强的灵活性和动态性。本文通过综述和分析围绕翻译单位的各种见解,阐述该命题在口译理论建设中的意义及其对口译实践的指导作用。

1引言从1984年第4期《翻译通讯》刊出王德春教授“论翻译单位”的发轫之作开始,在国内公开出版的外语、翻译类专业刊物和译论著作、教科书中专门探讨和评述这一命题的文章就有20余篇[1—2]。而论及该命题的论文就更多,仅1994—2004年间的论文在“中国期刊网”上就可以轻而易举搜索到近60篇PDF全文。学人各抒己见,见仁见智,对促进中国译学理论的发展起到了不可估量的作用。然而,在这些论述中绝大部分都是立足笔译,从不同角度探讨书面转换的翻译单位问题,鲜有专门论述口译翻译单位的。既然笔译中的翻译单位有从“词素”、“词”、“小句”、… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | Translation Units in Interpreting | | | ZHAO Junfeng | | | The past two decades have witnessed heated debates in the academia over the issue of translation units. The dynamic process of interpreting features openness in space and closeness in time, which gives rise to the dynamic and uncertain nature of translation units in interpreting, since they tend to vary a good deal with the interpreting contexts. This paper reviews and expounds different propositions on translation units and meanwhile explores the implications current research on translation units has upon interpreting theories and practice.
