| | | | | 主位结构理论在英语写作教学中的应用 | | | 黄鑫琳;陈中美 | | | 在大学英语教学中,我们发现英语水平较高的学生可以写出避免语法错误的文章,但文章读起来还是缺乏一定的连贯性。根据主位结构理论,正确合理地运用主位推进模式是保证语篇连贯的一个重要条件。学生作文之所以缺乏连贯性也就是因为他们没有合理地运用主位推进模式。即以主位结构理论为基础,通过对学生习作的分析验证了这一观点。并提出在大学英语写作教学中要注重运用主位结构理论来培养学生的语篇意识,以提高学生写作水平。

一、引言在英语教学过程中,我们经常发现这样的现象:在英语水平高的英语习作中,学生可以避免明显的语法错误,有的甚至没有语法错误,但文章读起来还是觉得有问题。整篇文章的连贯性不够,显得很松散。仔细分析其作文,发现每个句子孤立起来看都几乎是语法正确。但是通读全篇文章,就不难发现句与句之间的联系不自然,读起来不顺畅,有跳跃感。我们看到虽然文章中句与句之间的联系不乏衔接手段,但文章的连贯性较差。其实上面所讲的问题已经超越了一般意义上的语法层次的问题,属于语篇问题。语篇是语义而非语法单位。要建构意思完整表达清楚的语篇,… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | The Application of Thematic Structure Theory in College English Writing Teaching | | | HUANG Xin-lin;CHEN Zhong-mei(Foreign Language College of Xiangtan University;Xiangtan;Hunan 411105) | | | In college English teaching,we find that students with high language proficiency can avoid grammatical mistakes in their writing.But the composition is still lack of coherence.According to thematic structure theory,accurately and reasonably using thematic progression is an important factor for the coherence of the text.The reason for the students' compositions lacking of coherence is that they don't reasonably use the thematic progression in their writing.This paper validates this viewpoint by analyzing the students' composition and proposes that in the teaching of writing teachers should use this theory to foster the students' textual consciousness to improve their writing ability.
