The words which used to explain the meaning of expressions, usually differed from those in Tripitaka, so we can use it to do comparisons and rectifications. This paper makes some notes of the sound and meaning of Sheng Jing(生经) in the first and second volume of Xuanying's Yiqie Jing Yinyi (玄应一切经音义), by comparing Xuanying Yinyi (玄应音义) with Taisho Tripitaka and Zhonghua Tripitaka and analyzing the differences between Xuanying Yinyi (玄应音义) and Tripitaka.
