He will be revealed and his allegory about the death-scene can be interpreted. It is presented as a profound paradox. Poe puts himself between the terrible death scene and the spiritual reality. The former embodies the anxiety about the crisis of modernity and the latter expresses the ultimate longing for the universal salvation. It is in the paradox that Poe's thinking of the aporias between writing and living experience takes place.
