虚拟语气这一特殊的语法现象既是英语教学当中的难点也一直是英语界争论的焦点。有学者认为,在日常运用中,英语虚拟语气已呈现衰退趋势。但在许多历史悠久的考试,如托福及大学英语级别考试中,虚拟语气却是必考项目。在1994至2002年的四级考试中,虚拟语气占试题中“词汇与结构”部分的15.2%,但大部分考生这一部分的成绩不理想,由于汉英的文化差异,许多中国英语学习者在正确理解以及运用虚拟语气时确实有困难。布鲁姆(B loom,1981)通过实验验证了中国英语学习者反事实推理的能力比以英语为母语的学习者要弱,因此认为中国英语学习者要学好虚拟… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | Acquisition of the English WISH-type Subjunctive Mood | | | CHEN Yang(Department of Elementary Education;Foshan University;Foshan 528000;China) | | | Based on Noticing Hypothesis and in the view of cognitive linguistics and psycholinguistics,the present paper reports an empirical study on the effects of explicit focus-on-form with processing instruction and implicit focus-on-form with input enhancement on L2 acquisition of the English WISH-type subjunctive by Chinese L2 learners in the Chinese context.The analyses of the data collected through a series of tests are carried out with the application of SPSS and by the qualitative and quantitative research methods.The results show that processing instruction has a significant effect in facilitating the learners in acquiring the English WISH-type subjunctive,while input enhancement shows no significant difference.The result of the present study is hoped to raise the Chinese language teachers' concern with the formal instruction of the language forms since the communicative teaching model is popular in the English class in China.
