一、研究背景英语中的情感动词是指一类表示能够使人产生某种情感或感觉的及物动词,例如“Excite”(使人激动),“D isappo int”(使人失望),“Interest”(使人感兴趣)等等。情感动词的现在分词(-ing分词)与过去分词(-ed分词)具有截然不同的语法意义和使用场合,必须严格区分。然而,在为了解大学生的语法掌握情况而进行的一次调查中,我们发现绝大多数大学生不能正确使用和理解情感动词的“-ing分词”与-“ed分词”。例如,在所调查的大学本科生中,有69%的受调查者不能正确地填写出下述例句中情感动词的正确分词形式:They w ere both getting(… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | A Study on the "-ing Form" and "-ed Form" of English Feeling Verbs | | | LONG Xian-ping(Departmeat of Foreign Languages;Dongguang University;Dongguang 523106;China) | | | The understanding and mastery of "-ing participle" and "-ed participle" of English feeling verbs is a difficult point in the English study.According to our investigation,many college students have difficulty distinguishing participles such as "excited" and"exciting".We have also discovered that the grammar circle of our country does not have a separate and independent classification and illustration for this language phenomenon,as might have been the cause that the use of such participles has become a difficult point for the English learners.From the angle of grammatical forming as well as meaning,this study has given a clear classification and clarified illustration for the correct use of "-ing participle" and "-ed participle" of English feeling verbs.
