There now exist 175 volumes of Qing Dynasty’s Fujian local chronicles, including the general chronicle, the palace chronicle, the state chronicle, the county chronicle, the local government chronicle, the town chronicle, the village chronicle, and the city administrative chronicle. So far as these local chronicles are concerned, they both reflected their own characteristics and revealed their insufficiency.
