It is necessary to construct a team of principals that can adapt itself to the new situation and the new tasks, that understands the essence of education, that is good at management, that is with fine working style, of high quality, and with special knowledge, and that can develop harmoniously. This paper analyzes the main achievements that have been made and the existing problems that have been encountered in the training of principals since the Eighth Five-Year Plan Period, and based on the real situation of the training of principals in Fujian Province, this paper puts forwards proposals on the scientific formation of training classes, the change of the centralized training content,and the innovation of the means for the training of principals during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan Period.
