| | | | | 从语用角度探析《红楼梦》中比喻的翻译 | | | 刘丽娟 | | | 从《红楼梦》的两种全译本中选取部分译例,根据其特定文化语境以及情景语境中比喻喻体联想意义的异同进行语用对比分析。通过对比分析,发现霍译采用了各种有效手段对比喻喻体进行了恰当处理,不仅表达出原文喻体的语用意义,也再现了原文语言的生动形象,从而更好地实现了比喻的语用效果,达到了语用等效。在此基础上,提出了在汉英比喻翻译中应采取的相应处理方法。

一、引言比喻作为一种修辞手段,在文学作品中广泛运用,近年来,受到越来越多的学科的关注。比喻能够使语言生动鲜活,而且寓意深刻,主要是因为其中包含着能够使人产生丰富联想的喻体形象。事实上,比喻的所指义、含义和各种语用效果都是通过喻体形象来表现的。现代修辞学的研究表明比喻不只是文体的点缀物而已。从根本上来看,比喻具有扩大语言表达感情的作用。这种扩大语言表达感情的作用也正是通过喻体形象及其所在语境体现出来的。而语用学作为一门独立学科,研究对象是句子及其所在语境和情景之间的关系,也就是说它是研究语言在交际中的运用… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | Translation of similes and metaphors in Hong Lou Meng:a pragmatic perspective | | | LIU Li-juan (Department of Foreign Languages;Taishan University;Tai'an 271021;China) | | | Taking examples from the two English versions of Hong Lou Meng,the paper explores the translation of similes and metaphors in cultural context and situational context from a pragmatic perspective. Through the pragmatic contrast study, readers can see clearly that Hawkes' version not only reproduces the pragmatic meaning, but also recreates the vividness of the original language, therefore successfully achieves the pragmatic equivalent effect by adopting appropriate translation techniques. The author also points out that appropriate translation techniques should be adopted so as to achieve the pragmatic equivalent effect between the target-language text and the original text in the translation of similes and metaphors.
