| | | | | 外语课堂教学功能的重新思考与定位 | | | 束定芳,王惠东 | | | 传统的课堂教学PPP模式已被证明不是外语教学的理想模式,因为外语教学主要不是教给学生有关语言的知识,而是要培养学习者一种使用语言的能力。这种能力需要学习者在语言使用的实践中逐步地培养。这样的语言实践应该大量地在课外进行。因此,外语课堂教学的主要目的应该是培养学生的学习兴趣,通过课堂活动和教学要求,提供或创造真实有效的交际需求,教给学生学习外语的良好习惯和策略,同时解决学生在外语实践过程中遇到的困难和问题。课堂教学应该为学生课外的自主学习服务,为培养学生的学习能力服务。

根据现代外语教学理论,影响外语习得过程有许多因素,包括情感因素、输人的质量和数量、学习者策略等。由于课堂是教师和学生交流最多的场所,因此课堂教学应该从这样三个方面来促进学习者学习外语的过程。首先,课堂教学应该注意培养学生学习外语的兴趣和信心,端正学习的动机;第二,课堂教学应该为学习者提供一定的语言交际情景,让学生在真实的交际过程中接触目标语,使用目标语,并帮助学习者解决学习使用目标语语言过程中所遇到的困难;由于课堂的时间有限,这一过程必须延伸到课堂之外,也就是说,学习者必须有机会在课堂之外接触和使用目标语;第… | | |  推荐 CAJ下载  PDF下载 | | | CAJViewer7.0阅读器支持所有CNKI文件格式，AdobeReader仅支持PDF格式 | | | | Reconsidering the Role of Classroom Instruction in FLT | | | Shu Dingfang & Wang Huidong | | | The traditional PPP approach has proved to be ineffective in FLT classrooms since learning a foreign language involves more than learning about the language and requires the learner to learn to use the target language in the process of using the language. Essentially, FLT should aim at helping the learner to develop the ability to learn through communication in the target language. Most of such communicative activities can only occur outside the classroom. Consequently, the major purposes of FLT classroom instruction should be to foster learners' interest in learning the target language, to provide or create real communicative needs, to train the learners in terms of learning strategies, and to help solve problems they encounter in their autonomous learning. FLT classroom teaching should therefore serve the purpose of helping the learners to learn independently outside the classroom and promoting their autonomous learning ability.
