| | | | | 论新世纪文学翻译的基本策略 | | | 范建华 | | | 在世纪之交的今天,世界的发展已呈现出经济一体化和全球现代化的特征,在文化领域更是呈现出融会贯通的趋势。文化融合中出现的语言文化异化现象和最近翻译界出现的异化翻译趋向表明,异化策略应是全球化时代文学翻译的基本策略。而这异化译法的核心,就是尽量传译原文的"异质因素",就是要尽量传达原作的异域文化特色,异域语言形式,以及作者的异常写作手法。同时,异化译法要注意限度,讲究分寸,并借助归化法。

The phenomenon of language and cultural alienation in intercultural communication and the dissimilating tendency in translation shows that dissimilating translating method should be the basic strategy of cultural translation in the age of globalization. A foreignizing translation aims primarily to reproduce as much as possible the "foreign elements" in the original,including the foreign cultural features,the foreign formal features,and the author's unusual writing techniques. It should be pointed out,however,that in applying the foreignizing method,the translator should not go beyond what is permitted by the Chinese language and culture and what is acceptable to the Chinese readers. When foreignization is not feasible the translator should resort to domestication as a supplementary method.
