| | | | | 城市欲望中的人性本质与人格变迁——《日出》与现代城市文明困惑 | | | 石国庆 | | | 城市是欲望膨胀与赤裸之地 ,人性的本质、人格的变迁较乡村更易窥见。曹禺的《日出》于旧中国 30年代的城市一角 ,生动形象地凸现了人们的财欲 (金钱欲 )、权欲、性欲、享乐欲以及求生欲、死亡欲 ,并从城市欲海中翻滚折腾的形形色色的人群中抖露人性的光明与阴暗、人格的常态与变迁。过度的纵欲与道德的丧失使得城市渐渐沉沦 ,走向毁灭 ,作者最后祈盼与呼唤着“日出” ,因为它象征着新生 ,孕育着希望 ,遥指理想的城市文明范式以及健康健全的城市人性与人格。

It's easier to catch a glimpse of the essence of human nature and the changes of personality in city than in countryside. In Caoyu's Sunrise, through the description of one corner of city in the 30's of china, people's desires of wealth, power, sex, pleasure-seeking, living and death are vividly exposed. The brightness and darkness of human nature, the normality and changes of personality are reflected through different kinds of people whose desires are churning and struggling in city. The overindulgence in sensual pleasures and the lose of morality made the city go to degradation and extermination. The author looked forward to and called for the “sunrise” at last, because it represents the new life, breeds the hope and indicates the ideal model of city civilization and healthy and sound human nature and personality of city.
