It is well known to all as well as presents splendid sight for two thousand years. However, as a continuously metaphor coding system , the Chinese language of the Twelve Animals which symbolize the year in which one is born has its unknown aspect. Based on the cultural perspective , combining culture teaching at the middle or high stage of the Chinese language teaching to foreigners, the essay attempts to give an account of the unique cultural metaphor of the Chinese language of the Twelve Animals and to display a more vivid picture of them to readers.
