| | | | | 《红楼梦》两英译本中习语的宗教文化比较 | | | 范敏 | | | 语言与文化密切相关,语言反映文化,同时又受到文化的巨大影响,而宗教是人类思想文化的重要组成部分及表现形式。习语作为语言的核心与精华,更能折射出宗教文化对语言的影响。本文对《红楼梦》英译本中习语的宗教文化的探讨,旨在揭示不同民族的文化积淀不仅会导致跨文化交际的失误,而且是翻译工作者的难题。译者必须努力消除原文文本与译文文本、原作者意图与译文读者接受能力之间的差异,在当今地球村的大环境下,汉译外的标准似乎只能是在语用意义优先传译的前提下,尽可能保证其他层面意义的等值,以更好地传播中国文化。

This paper aims to point out that the ways of thinking, beliefs, etc. not only give rise to failures or misunderstandings in cross - cultural communication, but also pose headaches to translators who are trying to bridge the gaps between SL text and TL text, and intention of SL author and receiving capacity of TL receptors. It also points out that the literal meaning should be maximally transferred with the precondition of the Successful transference of pragmatic meaning in order to spread Chinese culture in C - E translation.
