As a high-tech product, the Internet has opened up a new space, that is, cyberspace to us. In this text-based community, the language that netizens use is very different from the language we use in real space. In this paper, an attempt is made to answer whether the language on the Internet is language variation or language change, and categorize the various variations of Chinese and English on the Internet and explain their underlying causes.
