It has many characteristics, such as succinct writing, proper choice of words, vivid and bright images,and it is full of metre and rhythm. Both Chinese and English idioms are as vast as the open sea, extremely profound and extensive. Through contrast and translation of the Chinese and English idioms related to animals, the paper has drawn an interesting conclusion so that it can stimulate people's interest of English studying and raise the ability to appreciate and translate English.
