| | | | | 翻译标准的依据:条件 | | | 杨晓荣 | | | 在翻译标准讨论中，“条件”是指对翻译标准形成不同程度制约的一系列相关因素，这些因素对翻译标准的确定具有决定性的意义。可以说，无条件即无法确定标准，有条件即有标准，条件明确则标准明确。“条件”作用的语言学理据是语境对翻译产出过程的制约，其理论意义在于为翻译不确定性提供理性疆界，并为翻译标准提供生存基础。

In other words, it is these conditions that determine translation criteria. No conditions, no criteria. The clarity of criteria conforms with the clarity of conditions. The function of conditions can be explained as the monitoring of context, both linguistic and extra-linguistic, over the whole process of translation. Theoretically, conditions bring determinacy to indeterminacy, or set limitation to it; practically, only if conditions are taken into consideration does it make sense to discuss about translation criteria.
