| | | | | 词语、文化信息与交流——对英汉“文化限定词语”的研究 | | | 金明 | | | 词语是语言系统中的要素之一 ,词语反映人们对客观事物的认知状态 ,然而 ,世界上各个不同民族因历史、文化等因素 ,在观察、认识事物时 ,往往会采用不同的视角 ,得到不同的效果 ,这些认识上的差异必然会反映到各自的语言之中。随着历史的不断推进 ,这些民族文化因素也会积淀在语言系统之中。这类携带着文化伴随意义的词语 ,我们称作“文化限定词语”。这类词语中隐含着文化信息 ,是我们在语言、文化交流中需要特别注意的。本文试图通过对英、汉“文化限定词语”的语义分析 ,阐明语言学习不仅需要掌握其形式 ,更应重视对其隐含文化信息的研究

However, owing to differences in history and culture, people from different nations in the world usually adopt different perspectives in their observation, and hence obtain different effects. These differences are necessarily reflected in their languages. Accompanying the development of their history, these cultural factors are often deposited in their language systems. These lexical items that carry implicit cultural information are called “cultural-specific items", and they need our special attention in our international exchanges. The paper expounds, through a semantic analysis of the English and Chinese “cultural-specific items", the notion that language learning is not merely a mastery of its forms but more importantly a good intuition of its cultural information.
