Both of the novels have constituted the seeking course of modem people-seeking paradise, seeking the rainbow and seeking the regeneration. It is a hopeless course. However, it is the circulating, proceeding and hopeless course that forms Lawrence's answer to the problem - - what course should the modern people follow.
