According to Habermas theory, the inner basis lies in the unilateral development of the reason in the capitalist modern course, which means that the instrumental rationality suppresses the development of the communicative rationality and the standard of rationality is narrowed to the instrumental rationality in the system of the purposeful reason activities. According to the this, Habermas attempts to reveal how science and technology as a product of reason denies, in the capacity of ideology, its modern basis and to point out that reason, which has liberated man from prejudice, may not necessarily lead to the liberation of man, so as to find the specific way of the reasonable realization of the modernization.
