| | | | | 翻译功能理论的启示──对某些翻译方法的新思考 | | | 陈小慰!350002 | | | 作为对传统“等值”观的一个重大突破和翻译理论的重要补充,德国学者提出的翻译功能理论为国内翻译理论研究开辟了一个新视角。该理论除了对翻译实践有较现实的指导意义外,它对翻译研究的一个重要贡献在于它为一些违反现有翻译标准但却经实际检验十分成功的翻译实践提供了理论依据,引起人们对一些传统上不提倡、但从实现译文功能角度来看有时是必须的翻译方法(如删减法和改译法)重新评价。文章力图从理论上和实例上说明,以原文分析为基础的删减法和改译法,在不少情况下,是实现译文预期功能的必要手段。只要运用得当,它们能起到一般翻译技巧难以达到的积极效果。它们完全有理由作为可供选择的翻译方法被人们承认、研究和应用。

In addition to its directive function to translation practice, theconcept has provided theoretical basis for some translation practices used to be considered against theexisting criteria of translation but with satisfactory practical outcome and provoked reappraisal of certaintranslation methods such as abridgment and adaptation. By authentic examples, this paper is an attempt tojustify them theoretically and practically as translation methods for recognition, study and application.
