Almost all people, almost all the time,seem to have certain things or notions that they avoid mentioning directly.Sometimes they use pleasant, Polite or harmless─sounding terms instead of those considered unpleasant or offensive.How to use English terms and sentences to avoid mentioning some unpleasant or unlucky things? How to avoid using ″dirty words″which usually refer to taboo subjects?Since we are living in the modern world and in polite society,we need to use many euphemisms or mild tone to express some unpleasant or embarrassing things or notions. In this article,these problems and solutions chosen outlined and discussed.
